Arcade vs Tourial

Both are go-to-market tools for interactive product demos. Arcade is the polished, self-serve option that publishes its pricing and ships weekly, now centred on AI video. Tourial goes deeper on CRM sync and branded Tour Centers, but it sells by quote with no free plan, and its maker rebranded to Navless in late 2025 and pointed its roadmap at a different product. The real question is which trade-off you can live with, and whether a third tool covers what both leave out.

The short version

Arcade vs Tourial in 30 seconds

Arcade and Tourial sell the same thing: interactive product demos for go-to-market teams. Arcade leads with “You’re the storyteller. Arcade makes every format effortless,” and has grown into a polished, self-serve platform for demos, AI-generated marketing videos, and static visuals. Tourial pitches “Convert Busy Buyers Faster with Micro Tours,” built around branded Tour Centers and deep CRM integration. Same category, two different centres of gravity.

The clearest split is how you buy and how fresh the product is. Arcade publishes its prices, gives you a free plan and a self-serve checkout, and ships updates most weeks, currently almost all of it AI-video work. Tourial keeps its pricing behind a sales quote and has no free plan. It matters more that its maker rebranded to Navless in late 2025 and moved its focus to a different product. The Tourial demo tool still sells at tourial.com, but its docs now live under Navless and most were last touched months ago, so a buyer should weigh that the roadmap energy has moved elsewhere.

Where Tourial still earns its keep is demand-gen plumbing: native two-way sync into HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, and Pardot, native lead forms, and Tour Centers served on your own domain. Arcade answers with AI video, a Figma plugin, and viewer-level lead analytics. The full table and pricing are below. There is also a third option worth a look, because neither tool turns a single capture into a written SOP or hosts a searchable help center on your own domain.

What sets them apart

Four differences that decide it

Both capture a browser flow and turn it into a clickable product demo. From there, they pull in different directions.

  1. How you buy it

Public self-serve pricing vs a sales quote

Arcade tells you what it costs and lets you buy it in minutes. There is a free plan for one published demo and one AI video, then Growth at $50/seat/mo billed monthly, or $42.50 billed annually, up to ten seats. Tourial publishes no prices at all. Both of its plans, Engage and Scale, route to a sales demo, Engage is capped at five seats and three Tour Centers, and the only no-cost access is a time-limited trial. If you want to try before you talk to anyone, that difference is the whole ballgame.

  2. Roadmap and focus

Shipping weekly vs a product the maker moved on from

Arcade’s changelog ships most weeks, and lately almost every entry is AI-video work: aspect ratio from a prompt, sound-effect controls, scene-level editing. Tourial’s maker rebranded to Navless in late 2025 and pivoted to a different product entirely, an AI-answer optimisation platform. The demo tool still sells, but its docs moved under docs.navless.ai and most pages were last updated months to a couple of years ago. That does not make it dead or unsupported, and existing customers still run on it. It does mean a new buyer is betting on a product that is no longer the vendor’s priority.

  3. Where each is strong

AI video and lead analytics vs CRM depth and Tour Centers

These two are strong in different places, and both wins are real. Arcade brings prompt-to-video generation, a Figma plugin for demoing screens that do not exist yet, and viewer-level analytics: Audience Reveal de-anonymises the companies watching, and a Leads page ranks prospects by engagement. Tourial brings native, bi-directional CRM and marketing-automation sync into HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, and Pardot, native lead forms, and white-labeled Tour Centers that group demos into a self-navigated hub on your own domain. Pick the strength that matches your team.

  4. Getting content out

Real exports vs GIF-only, hosted lock-in

Both tools host your demos as live assets, so the interactivity lives inside their platform. The difference is what you can carry out. Arcade exports GIF or MP4 on Growth and above, capped at 720p, plus a PDF or clipboard copy of its static Step-by-Step Guide. Tourial’s only downloadable output is an animated GIF; there is no MP4, PDF, or source-file export, and the assembled tour is not portable. Leaving either tool means recreating demos elsewhere, but Tourial gives you less to take with you.

Both publish an interactive demo, so that core job is a tie. Arcade adds AI video generation, a Figma plugin, viewer-level lead analytics, MP4 export, and a self-serve free plan you can buy without talking to sales. Tourial answers with genuinely deeper two-way CRM and marketing-automation sync, native lead forms, and branded Tour Centers on your own domain. Price cuts against Tourial hard: Arcade is public at $42.50–$50/seat/mo, while Tourial is quote-only with no free plan. And both leave the same two things on the table: no written step-by-step SOP output, and no searchable help center on your own domain.

Verified against both vendors’ public pages and documentation, July 2026. Arcade prices from arcade.software/pricing; Tourial publishes no prices, so no figure is stated for it. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we’ll fix it.

Do the math

Pricing compared

One side publishes its prices, the other doesn’t. That gap is the story.

$42.50/seat/mo

Arcade Growth billed annually — $50/seat/mo billed monthly; free plan covers 1 demo, Growth caps at 10 seats

Quoteonly

Tourial publishes no prices — Engage and Scale are sales-quote only, and there is no free plan, just a trial

$19/seat/mo

Guidejar Pro billed monthly — $16/seat/mo billed annually; help center, MCP and MP4 on Plus at $25

The honest read on price: Arcade tells you what it costs and lets you buy it yourself. The free plan runs one published demo and one AI video; Growth is $50/seat/mo billed monthly, or $42.50 billed annually, up to ten seats. One caveat worth naming: Growth meters AI video in credits, so a video-heavy team pays more than a flat seat count suggests. Tourial publishes nothing. Both plans route to “Book a Demo,” Engage is capped at five seats and three Tour Centers, and there is no free plan, so we won’t invent a figure for it. For a five-person team, Arcade Growth is $250/mo billed monthly ($212.50 annually); Guidejar Pro is $95/mo for the same five seats, or Plus at $125 adds the help center, MP4 export, and MCP.

Prices as of July 2026. Arcade bills per seat and meters AI video in credits; Tourial pricing is quote-only; Guidejar Pro is $19/seat with Plus at $25.

Credit where it's due

Where each one genuinely wins

Neither is a strictly better version of the other, and neither is beaten by Guidejar on these. Real, checkable advantages.

Arcade: Page Morph and a Figma plugin

Page Morph lets you click into the live page and rewrite any text or element before you record, so you can scrub customer names, clean up test data, or demo copy that does not exist in the product yet. The Figma plugin, on every plan including Free, imports design frames directly, which means marketing can ship a clickable walkthrough of a screen engineering has not built. Guidejar has no equivalent for either.

Arcade: AI video plus viewer-level lead analytics

Arcade generates marketing videos from a prompt grounded in your brand kit, and claims about six minutes to a first draft. That whole category sits outside what Guidejar or Tourial do. On the analytics side, Audience Reveal de-anonymises the companies watching a demo, and a dedicated Leads page ranks prospects by engagement, feeding Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, and Salesforce. For a demand-gen team, that is a deeper GTM instrument than a documentation tool offers.

Tourial: two-way CRM and marketing-automation sync

This is Tourial’s strongest area, and it beats both Arcade and Guidejar here. Native bi-directional connectors push demo-engagement data onto lead and contact records in HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, and Pardot, trigger workflows and Slack alerts, and sync native Tourial Forms straight into the CRM. If demo engagement has to show up in pipeline reporting and attribution, Tourial was built for that job.

Tourial: Tour Centers and live-HTML sandbox demos

Tour Centers group multiple micro tours into a bingeable, white-labeled hub on your own domain, with upfront prompts that route visitors by persona. It is a polished top-of-funnel surface neither Arcade nor Guidejar matches cleanly. Tourial can also capture the real page DOM to build editable, clickable HTML demos, a Storylane-style capability, though it is flagged experimental and the docs look dated. Weigh both against the Navless pivot before you commit.

Pick your fit

Which tool is right for you?

Same job, different trade-offs. Honest recommendations based on what your team actually needs.

Choose Arcade if

  • You want a self-serve tool with public pricing and a free plan to try before you talk to anyone
  • AI-generated marketing video is a real deliverable, not just narrated screen captures
  • You need to demo screens that do not exist yet, using the Figma plugin and Page Morph
  • Demo-sourced pipeline is the metric, and you want Audience Reveal, a Leads page, and CDP event propagation
  • You value a product that ships updates most weeks over one in maintenance mode

Choose Tourial if

  • Two-way HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or Pardot sync of demo engagement is the whole point
  • You want branded Tour Centers that group demos into a self-navigated hub on your own domain
  • Native lead forms wired into your CRM and marketing-automation stack matter more than video
  • A sales-led, quote-based purchase with a dedicated CSM fits how your team buys
  • You are comfortable betting on a demo product whose maker has pivoted to Navless
The verdict

Arcade is the safer, more modern self-serve pick. Tourial wins on CRM depth but carries real roadmap risk.

For most teams shopping this pair today, Arcade is the more comfortable bet: transparent pricing, a free plan, self-serve checkout, and a product under active development, with AI video and demo analytics that Tourial has no answer for. Tourial still wins on two-way CRM and marketing-automation sync and on branded Tour Centers, so a marketing team that lives in HubSpot or Marketo has a real reason to look. The catch is that its maker rebranded to Navless and moved on, so you would be buying a de-prioritised product. Worth noting before either: neither one turns a capture into a written SOP, and neither hosts a searchable help center on your own domain. That is the gap the third option fills.

The third option

Both stop at the demo. Your team also needs docs.

Arcade and Tourial each publish an interactive demo and stop there. Neither turns the same capture into a written step-by-step SOP, and neither hosts a searchable help center on your own domain. If polished top-of-funnel demos are the entire job, either can serve you. If support, onboarding, and internal docs are the same job, here is the third option.

Guidejar

Guidejar takes one capture and publishes it as a Walkthrough View people click through with hotspots and branching, the way both of these tools do it, and as a written Scroll View SOP at the same time. The whole library then lives in a searchable, branded help center at your own domain, and you can export it as MP4, PDF, HTML, or Markdown instead of renting hosted-only assets. Pricing is public and self-serve, from $19/seat/mo billed monthly.

  • One capture, published as a clickable walkthrough and a written SOP, chosen per guide
  • MP4 export with AI voiceover on Plus, plus PDF, HTML, and Markdown you own
  • Searchable branded help center on your own custom domain, with Ask AI

Making the switch

Switching to Guidejar

From either tool, most teams finish the move in a few days.

  1. 1

    Export what you have

Arcade exports MP4 or GIF on Growth and above, capped at 720p, plus a PDF or clipboard copy of its Step-by-Step Guide, though that copy silently drops video steps. Tourial gives you far less: a shareable link, an embed code, and a downloadable animated GIF per tour, with no bulk, source, PDF, or MP4 export of the actual demo.

  2. 2

    Import into Guidejar

Run exported MP4s through our AI Video-to-Guide Maker, bring Step-by-Step PDFs through our importer, or turn existing screenshots into guides in a few clicks, with no all-time import cap. Anything interactive takes a couple of minutes to re-capture with our Chrome extension or desktop app.

  3. 3

    Publish it properly

Choose Walkthrough View or Scroll View or both per guide, add AI voiceover, translate into 30+ languages, and put the whole library on a branded help center at your own domain.

Neither wins outright; they make different trade-offs. Arcade is the more modern, self-serve choice: public pricing, a free plan, weekly updates, AI video generation, and viewer-level lead analytics. Tourial goes deeper on two-way CRM and marketing-automation sync and on branded Tour Centers, but it sells only by quote, and its maker has pivoted to Navless, so the demo product is no longer the roadmap focus. If you want polished demos with modern tooling, lean Arcade. If demo-to-CRM attribution in HubSpot or Marketo is the job, Tourial still has an edge. Neither turns a capture into a written SOP or hosts a help center on your own domain, which is where Guidejar comes in.

Tourial is still sold at tourial.com, but the company that makes it rebranded to Navless in late 2025 and shifted its focus to a different product, an AI-answer optimisation platform. The demo tool now reads as maintenance mode: its docs moved to docs.navless.ai and most pages were last updated months to a couple of years ago. It is not dead or unsupported, and existing customers still use it. The honest caveat for a new buyer is that the vendor’s roadmap energy has moved elsewhere, so weigh that before committing.

Arcade publishes its pricing: a free plan with one published demo and one AI video, then Growth at $50/seat/mo billed monthly ($42.50 billed annually), up to ten seats, and custom Enterprise above that. Note that Growth meters AI video in credits, so heavy video use costs more than the seat price alone. Tourial publishes nothing. Its Engage and Scale plans are quote-only and every button routes to a sales demo, with Engage capped at five seats and three Tour Centers. Third-party sites float estimates, but Tourial states no number, so we won’t either. Guidejar is public and self-serve from $19/seat/mo billed monthly.

Arcade yes, Tourial no. Arcade’s free plan is genuinely usable for a trial: one published interactive demo, one AI video, 200 AI credits a month, the Chrome extension, the desktop app, the Figma plugin, and even its MCP, all on one seat. Tourial has no free plan at all, only a time-limited free trial before you talk to sales. Guidejar’s free plan covers 5 guides with browser capture, PDF export, sharing, and embedding, with the Guidejar watermark shown.

Arcade can, Tourial can’t. Arcade exports GIF or MP4 on Growth and above, capped at 720p and 59 minutes. Tourial’s only downloadable output is an animated GIF; there is no MP4 or video-file export, and the assembled tour itself stays hosted on Tourial. Guidejar exports a full MP4 on its Plus plan with AI voiceover baked in, alongside PDF, HTML, and Markdown.

Both do, and this is Tourial’s strong suit. Tourial has native two-way connectors to HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, and Pardot that push demo-engagement data onto lead records and sync its native forms into the CRM. Arcade connects to HubSpot, Salesforce (Enterprise), Slack, and the major CDPs and analytics tools, and can embed HubSpot, Marketo, and Calendly widgets inside a demo. If two-way marketing-automation sync into Marketo or Pardot is the requirement, Tourial goes deeper. Guidejar’s integrations are embed and copy-paste, not native OAuth connectors, so a CRM-heavy team should factor that in.

Not really. Arcade can generate a static Step-by-Step Guide from a demo on Growth, but it does not auto-update, is not embeddable, and produces no analytics. Tourial has no written-document output at all; its Tour Centers are demo galleries, not a support knowledge base. Neither one hosts a searchable, branded help center on your own domain. Guidejar publishes the same capture as a written Scroll View SOP and a clickable Walkthrough View at once, and puts the whole library on a help center at your own domain from the Plus plan.
