Guidejar vs Supademo in 30 seconds
Supademo is a serious interactive demo tool. Capture a flow, get a clickable walkthrough with hotspots, branching, variables, AI voiceover and translation into 50+ languages. It also exports written SOPs as PDF, PNG or pasteable HTML, so this is not a demo-only product and anyone telling you otherwise hasn’t read their docs.
The friction is the ladder. Almost everything you actually want sits on Scale at $50/creator/month billed monthly ($38 billed annually). Then the flagship demo features jump again: guided HTML demos, sandbox demos, Route Hub and voice cloning all need Growth at $350/month for five creators. And bulk export of your own workspace data is Enterprise-only.
Guidejar covers the same demo job from $19/seat, puts voice cloning on a $75 plan rather than a $350 one, and gives the finished demos somewhere to live: a searchable, branded help center on your own domain, which Supademo has no equivalent for. The full feature table and pricing math are below, and where Supademo is the better buy, we say so.
Four reasons demo teams pick Guidejar over Supademo
Both tools turn a captured flow into a clickable interactive demo. Guidejar does that job for less, and without a $350 step in the middle of the ladder.
Price
The same interactive demos, $31 less per seat each month
Guidejar Pro is $19/seat/month, or $16 billed yearly. Supademo’s cheapest paid tier is Scale at $50/creator/month billed monthly, $38 billed annually. Their pricing page defaults to the annual toggle, so $38 is the number you see first. Either way you are comparing $19 against $50, or $16 against $38, for branching, variables, AI voiceover, analytics and watermark removal on both sides.
The Growth cliff
No $350 step in the middle of the price ladder
Supademo’s Scale tier is well loaded, but four headline capabilities sit above it: guided HTML demos, sandbox demos, Route Hub and AI voice cloning are all marked Not included in Scale. Reaching them means Growth, and Growth is not per-seat at the entry point. It is a $350/month bundle of five creators billed annually, against $38 a creator on Scale. A three-person team pays $114 or $350 with nothing between. Guidejar’s ladder runs $19, $25, then $75 for five bundled seats, and voice cloning lands on that $75 plan.

Somewhere for finished demos to live and be searched
Guidejar publishes guides and demos to a searchable, branded help center at help.yourcompany.com, with Ask AI answering from your own content on Business. Supademo has no hosted article knowledge base at any tier. Its closest surfaces are Showcase Collections, a themeable gallery of demos, videos and PDFs on a custom domain from Scale, and Demo Hub, an in-app widget. Both are demo galleries rather than an article CMS, and their own docs tell you to embed Supademos into Intercom, HubSpot or other knowledge bases, which is another bill if you don’t already run one.
Explore the help centerAI docs layer
A demo that answers questions after you publish it
Both tools generate text, narration and translations. Guidejar adds the layer after publishing: auto-generated FAQs and summaries on Pro, an Ask AI search that answers from your own guides on Business, and step import straight from existing PDFs and Word docs. That turns one demo into support content people can search instead of a link somebody has to send them. Supademo’s AI covers text generation, translation, voiceovers, data editing and an AI Audit, with no FAQ or summary generation and no help center to answer from.

On the demo job itself these two are closer than the price gap suggests. Capture is a tie, both build clickable walkthroughs with branching and variables, and both produce a written step-by-step guide from the same capture. Supademo translates into more languages and wins outright on SCORM, in-app Demo Hub, HTML-cloned demos and native CRM connectors. What differs is the ladder and the destination: Guidejar puts branching, variables and voiceover on a $19 plan rather than a $50 one, voice cloning on $75 for five seats rather than $350, and gives finished demos a searchable branded help center to live in. Supademo’s bulk workspace export is Enterprise-only, which is worth knowing before you commit a library to it.

Bottom line: Billed monthly, five people on Supademo Scale costs $250/month. The same team on Guidejar Business costs $75, which is $2,100 less per year. Billed annually it is $190 against $59, or $1,572 a year. The sharper number is the Growth cliff: HTML demos, sandbox demos, Route Hub and voice cloning all require $350/month for five creators, up from $38 a creator, while Guidejar puts voice cloning on the same $75 Business plan.

Where Supademo genuinely wins
Supademo’s Scale tier is strong value and several things it does, Guidejar cannot do at all.
Guided HTML demos and sandbox exploration
On Growth, Supademo clones your app’s actual front-end HTML and CSS instead of stitching screenshots together. The demo is pixel-perfect, the text and data inside it stay editable after capture (find and replace on emails and dates, AI data editing of tables, image variables to swap logos), and sandbox mode lets a prospect explore freely through invisible hotspots rather than following one fixed path. Guidejar has no equivalent at any price. For a demo-led sales team, that is a structural reason to choose Supademo.
Free SCORM 1.2 packaging for your LMS
Any Supademo, or in fact any URL, can be wrapped as a SCORM 1.2 course module for Cornerstone, Docebo, Moodle, TalentLMS, SCORM Cloud, LearnDash, Litmos or Absorb, reporting completion, score and session time back over the SCORM API. The tool is free for everyone with no plan or sign-in required. Guidejar has no SCORM support at all, so if an LMS mandate is on your requirements list, this row decides it. One caveat worth knowing: the package is an iframe wrapper rather than self-contained content, so the module needs live network access to Supademo, and it breaks if you ever cancel.
Real CRM and GTM connectors at the entry paid tier
HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Seismic, Slack, Intercom, Zapier, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and webhooks are all native connectors from Scale, and HubSpot and Salesforce sync identified viewers back as leads. Guidejar’s equivalents are Insta Copy paste rather than OAuth connectors. If demo engagement has to land in your CRM as pipeline, Supademo does that properly and Guidejar does not.
Route Hub and the AI Demo Agent
Route Hub changes which demos a viewer sees based on their inputs, profile and behaviour, and the AI Demo Agent is a voice-led agent that runs discovery, answers questions in 50+ languages and hands qualified buyers to sales with context. Both are Growth and above, and the agent is usage-priced on top. Nothing in Guidejar addresses demo automation for revenue at that level. Growth also makes view-only collaborator seats unlimited and free, where Guidejar’s equivalent is a paid add-on.
Which tool is right for your team?
Honest recommendations based on what you do with a demo once it exists.
Choose Guidejar if
- You want the same interactive demos with branching and variables at $19 a seat rather than $50 billed monthly
- You do not want a $350-a-month step between the entry tier and voice cloning
- Your demos and guides should live in a searchable help center on your own domain, not just as links and embeds
- You want Ask AI answering customer questions from your own content, and auto-generated FAQs and summaries
- You need to import existing PDFs and Word docs as guides rather than rebuild them
- You want Markdown and downloadable HTML files out, not clipboard-only HTML
Choose Supademo if
- You need a pixel-perfect HTML clone of your product, or a sandbox a prospect can explore freely
- An LMS mandate is a hard requirement and you need SCORM packaging
- Demo engagement has to sync into HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo or Seismic as identified leads
- You want a searchable in-app demo widget on a zero budget
- You have a large viewer population and need unlimited free view-only seats on Growth or above
- You translate into languages beyond the 30+ Guidejar covers
Most teams should pick Guidejar.
It builds the same interactive demos Supademo is known for, with branching, variables and AI voiceover on a $19 plan rather than a $50 one, and voice cloning at $75 for five seats rather than $350. The same capture also publishes as a written guide inside a branded, searchable help center on your domain, which Supademo has no answer for. Choose Supademo when HTML-cloned or sandbox demos, SCORM packaging, or native CRM lead sync are hard requirements, because those are real gaps on our side and no amount of price advantage closes them.
Switching from Supademo to Guidejar
Get your content out while you still can, then rebuild the flows that matter.
- 1
Export what you have
Supademo exports Copy Steps, PDF or PNG, and MP4 or GIF, one demo at a time. Bulk workspace export is Enterprise-only, and branching and hotspots don’t survive any export.
- 2
Import into Guidejar
Turn those PDFs or MP4s into guides in just a few clicks, with no all-time import cap. Although some flows are worth re-capturing with our extension or desktop app.
- 3
Publish it properly
Choose Walkthrough View or Scroll View or both per guide, add AI voiceover, translate into 30+ languages, and put the whole library on a branded help center at your own domain.

Yes, there is a free forever plan for one creator. It covers 5 guided interactive demos, 50 screen and camera recordings at 4K, unlimited views, AI text personalization, video splitting, chapters, the in-app Demo Hub, and export as link, embed, PDF, PNG or MP4. MP4 is capped at 1080p and watermarked. What free leaves out: view-only collaborators, team workspace, folders, smart blur, desktop apps, watermark removal, custom domain, all analytics, all integrations, branching, variables, AI voiceover and AI translation. Guidejar’s free plan is 5 guides for 1 user with browser capture, PDF export, sharing, embedding and manual blurring.
Scale is $50 per creator per month billed monthly, or $38 billed annually. Their pricing page defaults to the annual toggle, so $38 is the figure most people quote. Growth is $350 a month for five bundled creators billed annually, with extra creators at $50 each. Enterprise is custom and starts at ten bundled creators. Only creator and admin seats are billed; view-only collaborators are free but capped at five on Scale. Guidejar Pro is $19 a seat monthly or $16 billed yearly.
Yes, and it costs nothing. Supademo runs a browser-based generator that wraps a demo link or iframe in a SCORM 1.2 package for Cornerstone, Docebo, Moodle, TalentLMS, SCORM Cloud, LearnDash, Litmos and Absorb, reporting completion, score and session time. No Supademo plan or sign-in is required. Guidejar has no SCORM support, so if you have an LMS mandate, Supademo wins that requirement outright. The one caveat is that the package wraps an iframe rather than bundling the content, so the module needs live network access to Supademo and stops working if the account goes away.
Yes. Two ways, both on the free plan. Copy Steps as SOP Guide exports every slide as an image plus descriptive text in HTML or plain text, which their docs pitch for how-to articles, SOPs, internal wikis and support docs. Separately, the Steps view setting renders SEO-friendly step descriptions below the live demo on the hosted share page. There is also an Export as SOP row for PDF and PNG. Anyone telling you Supademo is demo-only is wrong. Guidejar produces the same written output as Scroll View from the same capture, and adds Markdown and downloadable HTML file exports on Pro.
No, not as an article-based one. There is no hosted, searchable help center product in Supademo’s docs or in any of the roughly 100 rows of its pricing matrix, and their own docs tell you to embed demos into Intercom, HubSpot or other knowledge bases you already run. The nearest surfaces are Showcase Collections, a themeable custom-domain gallery of demos, videos and PDFs from Scale, and Demo Hub, a searchable in-app widget on free. Both are demo galleries. Guidejar’s help center is a branded, searchable article site on your own domain from Plus, with Ask AI answering from your content on Business.
Four capabilities and a large price step. Scale at $38 a creator billed annually covers guided screenshot and video demos, AI voiceover, translation into 50+ languages, branching, variables, custom domain, analytics, lead forms, MCP and all ten CRM connectors. Growth adds guided HTML demos, sandbox demos, Route Hub, AI voice cloning, AI data editing, demo versioning and HTML editing, and it is priced as $350 a month for five bundled creators rather than per seat. For a two or three person team that is $76 to $114 against $350, with nothing in between.
Billed monthly, a five-person team on Supademo Scale pays $250 a month against $75 for the same team on Guidejar Business, so $2,100 less per year. Billed annually it is $190 against $59, or $1,572 a year. On entry price it is $19 a seat against $50 monthly, or $16 against $38 annually. The bigger gap is usually voice cloning: Guidejar puts it on the $75 Business plan, Supademo on the $350 Growth plan.
Partly, and the timing matters. Per-demo exports are generous: Copy Steps as HTML or plain text, PDF and PNG, MP4 and GIF, all available from the free plan. But bulk workspace export sits behind Enterprise, so on Free, Scale or Growth you export one demo at a time. Interactivity does not survive any of it either, so branching, variables, hotspots and HTML demos come out as flat images, text or video and need rebuilding. Guidejar imports PDFs and Word docs as guides on Pro and videos on Plus, and re-capturing a flow takes a couple of minutes.
